Terms of use
PowerLogs is free to use. By using it, you accept these terms.

Information, not advice
PowerLogs shows power cuts that network operators have published, and explains the compensation rules that may apply. It is general information, not legal or financial advice. Whether you are owed a payment is decided by your network operator, using its own records. Always ask your operator to confirm.
Accuracy
We record what the operators publish, as it is published. Their data can be incomplete, late or wrong, and some cuts never appear in it. Periods when an operator’s data could not be read are shown as missing. We do our best to keep PowerLogs accurate and available, but we can’t guarantee either.
Our responsibility
PowerLogs is provided free and as it is. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on it, including a claim that is refused or made late. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
Claim emails
Claim emails are drafts for you to check, change and send yourself. PowerLogs does not act for you, contact your operator on your behalf or charge for claims.
Using the data
The power cut data comes from the network operators under their open data licences, listed on Coverage & sources. If you reuse it, follow those licences. Please don’t use automated tools to copy PowerLogs at a rate that slows it down for others.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: [email protected].
